…FINALLY… resolved !

Thanks for your prompt reply… Sorry; but we can not demonstrate the activity in question as we’ve deactivated and uninstalled the plugin to prevent any possible damage to our software and / or any possibility of database corruption.

Spot on Martin… after running a thorough check on all the files that were mentioned in the error cascade yesterday; we came to the same “logical” conclusion, and were able to clean the uninstall by using that process. Thanks for the “LOGIC” followup.

We thought that the day before – but we said – “NAH – that’s too easy”.

Sometimes it really is the easy thing right in front of your face !

Thanks Martin… but .htaccess and mod_rewrite are fine – as noted – site worked perfectly for first 48 + hours – until we un-installed a couple of plugins that we didn’t want to use anymore… then BLAM… errors started.
That’s counter intuitive behavior – most times when INSTALLING plugins this happens due to conflicts / incompatibility in function code, etc.

Have tried to use this plugin for several months – but Google always rejects the sitemap with “Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead”

It would be real nice to have the “solution” posted, because this is potentially a great little plugin… !!!
