I still don’t know how to remove it. I logged into DreamHost, went to Manage Domains, clicked on “FTP” under the correct domain name, logged in, and I’m looking at the index of plugins. I see google-analytics-for-wordpress, but there is no option for removing or deleting or anything like that. Left clicking just takes me into each component within the plugin file and right clicking just gives me options for Open Link in New Tab, Save Link, Copy Link, etc.

I don’t know what “FTP” even means. I have no idea what to do to fix this. I can’t get into my WordPress dashboard at all. My hosting service is DreamHost if that’s helpful. Can someone please give more detailed instructions?

I’m sorry – I’m not website-savvy, so I don’t know how to manually re-install those when I can’t get into my website’s dashboard. I downloaded the zip file you listed above, but I don’t know what to do with it. Can you give me more instructions?
