Similar issue – was getting a critical error when trying to edit a page – traced it to cleantalk and disabled / deleted cleantalk.

Viewing this thread I reinstalled CleanTalk – got the same critical error – tried disabling Contact form 7 and enabling CleanTalk instead – since I really don’t need Contact form 7 as I use Formidable Forms – I am opting to keep you!

At the moment on the new site we have decided to list the events manually – no more than a handful a year so will place newest on top of the ones we wanted to keep.

The old version of The Events Calendar had worked well for us for years – sorry to see it go.

Not sure what helped did so much work on this!
Removed Events Calendar that I never used anyway
There was an odd timer on the post from wpbakery that I found and removed
Removed all [um_loggedin] [/um_loggedin] as they didn’t work
Made sure that the restrictions were ‘checked’ for the pages I wanted to be restricted to logged in users
Made sure the Category in my post was working with UM at the bottom of the category page – same for the Post & Page that the blog was pulling it in from were all set to allow only logged in users (also previously hidden at the bottom of each page and post.

All good – took forever – hope this helps someone elae!

Protective plugins like Wordfence are listing it as a medium threat and abandoned because it hasn’t been updated in so long. Means it is likely open to hacking.

I love it too – and use it on many site – just came in here now to look for a replacement – please tell me I don’t have to!

Nevermind! – made my <h3>smaller …. didn’t realize how large my top menu titles were until this called it to my attention!

The water is rising above my head … but a good idea … may explore it later. I see they have a tutorial on how to to create your own….

That worked without the category I tried ‘all’ as the category but that didn’t work so I used: [events_list scope=”today”] – now i just need to get rid of the ‘date and keep the time” as it keeps repeating the same date!

Will also need list view for another page – is there a shortcode for that as well?

Clarification – it is the tooltip that blinks endlessly on most events.
Disabled tooltips – now on click the event leads to a 404!

Actually – i think what worked was setting up categories with in the EventsManager events i created – just deleted the page that i had placed in the eventspage above and am only placing [fullcalendar] on two pages and it still works with the category dropdown as selected on the FullCalendar settings page.

I found that creating the events in EventsManager and selecting to use EventManager categories on the FullCalendar settings page taxonomy category worked for me – didn’t need anything on the page – just needed to tell EventsManager which page to use (I had renamed it to prevent a conflict with another event program that i use) – found it after much searching in Events>Settings>Pages>Event List/Archive> Events page (is where i entered the name of my FullCalendar page.
