Never mind, I switched feeds and it looks like the original feed doesn’t follow the proper XML structure.

RSS displays new stuff in reverse chronological order so it was just a matter of using an RSS widget to show the latest, say ten, new links from the link library RSS feed.

I didn’t want to expend your resources on this since it was easy to do. If you go ahead, I’ll be happy to contribute towards it.

You may want to go to Global Configuration and switch your update channel to the monthly one instead of standard (which pulls updates as they are released).

Monthly should slow it down for you.

No need to – I figured I can just pull in the RSS feed for links and use that for the latest, doh!

It checks against their database of bad emails, disposable emails, flagged as spam emails, etc. I use Amazon SES so I prefer to be aggressive at defending against bad emails to keep my reputation high. Amazon’s very picky as you may know.

I initially was using Debounce for mailing list signup forms but it can be used site-wide for any form that collects emails.

It’s a piece of javascript code that’s loaded in the header. I’ll definitely let them know. Fortunately I can bypass that page and not fret about it in the meantime.

I’ve emailed it to you since the site is in maintenance mode.

Umm, might wanna belay that… I happened to look up and saw that the email is indeed being validated but the validator icon that normally shows up in the email box is showing way up in the upper left corner of the browser window (on the right of the site logo) for some reason.

Is this fixable?

BTW, I sent you an email a couple weeks ago about a paid customization. Did you ever get it?

Ah, I see now. It is indeed set correctly to the link description. I’m using MailPoet to automatically email updates. I assumed it pulls in data from the RSS feed but it’s apparently pulling it straight from WordPress and the link description isn’t included, just the full page content for some odd reason.

I’ll ping them and see if they can tweak it.
