In reply to: [Custom Community] Logo not responsive?Hi all! I just figured out a pretty good work-around for the header/ugly menu issue without coding until the developer decides to fix the free version…
I disabled the search bar in the theme’s BuddyPress tab (I can use a widget instead) then I moved my Header Image into Logo and set Header Image as None. This solution gave me a little extra white space at the top of the “Logo”, probably left over from the margin of the search bar but it beats what it looked like before.
So now my Header re-sizes and the menu bar stays pretty reasonable. And the header is clickable too.
Hope this helps someone!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Photos Product Tab] Don't see Photo tabThanks Sevastien! That worked…pretty much.
Now the only issue I see is that the tab is displaying the pictures in the box (Yay!) in a single column instead of filling in columns left to right and then down. Before the change, it was displaying 3 columns (which was good).
Appreciate your help! We’re almost there! ??

In reply to: [WooCommerce Photos Product Tab] Don't see Photo tabGreat. I’m sure the clarified documentation will help someone in the future.
I’m not sure how to submit a screenshot, so here’s the link:

In reply to: [WooCommerce Photos Product Tab] Don't see Photo tabOkay, I went ahead and posted that last post even though I found the answer.
I can’t use the Media Library, I must actually UPLOAD the picture, and then just close the Insert Media window instead of inserting the picture into the post. You may want to make that more clear in your instructions.
Okay. That does it.
So now I have UPLOADED 6 images to my product. I am still having the same issue as before,
the Photos “box” or background doesn’t expand with the photos and messes up the page.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
Again, I appreciate your help…

In reply to: [WooCommerce Photos Product Tab] Don't see Photo tabHi Sebastien! Thanks for responding again.
I have re-read your documentation and have copied the items pertaining to adding images below:
This plugin does not allow you to add images to the product or tab, only display them. To add another image use the media uploader.
Q3. How can I show more images of the product ?
A3. You will need to add them like you have done with the previous images. Just add the image with the media uploader on the product and it will show. How do I add more images to the product ?
Simple, just press the ‘Add Media’ button on the edit product page.
I don’t see in your documentation anything other than to use Add Media which I assume is what you are talking about when you say “the media uploader”.
So, I went to a product and clicked “Add Media” as suggested. I get the WordPress “Insert Media” window which is set to “Media Library”. I click on the image I want to add to the Product Tab, and then click “Insert Into Product”. It inserts the picture into my description of the product. I don’t see any other option other than “Insert Into Product”.
So, what am I doing wrong? I don’t know how to
but don’t insert them to the content box
.
I appreciate your help…I’d really like to use your plug-in! It’s such a great idea!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Photos Product Tab] Don't see Photo tabSo, I figured out another way to “attach” media using a plug-in and the images don’t show up in the description. So I attached all of these pictures and the Photos “box” or background doesn’t expand with the photos and messes up the page. Any ideas how I can fix this?
Thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce Photos Product Tab] Don't see Photo tabThanks Sebastien! That helped. Though, I don’t really want the pictures to show up in the description, which is what happened when I used “Add Media”.

I may have fixed this problem by setting up PayPal Instant Payment Notifications. I went to PayPal/MyAccount/Profile/SellingPreferences/InstantPaymentNotificationPreferences and followed the instructions from Woo at https://docs.woothemes.com/document/paypal-standard/#section-3.
I’ll write back if I experience the problem again, but maybe this will fix Scruffy1’s problem.

THANK YOU AARON SOOOO MUCH for your patience and attempt to help me out! I really couldn’t imagine that the website would have broken that dramatically over something else, but that is what happened. It was not Post Expirator at all, but another plug-in update that caused the issue. I have learned my lesson and will definitely be more careful about my posts! I am soooooo embarrassed and hope everyone reads this far to see that the problem was not yours! In summary, Post Expirator DID NOT break my website, and I sure do appreciate your understanding and help that helped me track down the issue.

Thanks Aaron. I have a record of all the files that were added/deleted/changed yesterday and I see all of them were in the plugins directories except for wp-config. Hmmph.
One more thing, I see that I deleted one plug-in and only updated one other plug-in before I updated Post Expirator. Would it do any good to delete that plugin folder?
Thanks,
SusanThank you graynotgrey for responding so quickly and your great ideas! I checked my error log and it is empty. I had updated several plugins before upgrading Post Expirator, but the site did not break until I updated Expirator. I do have a backup of my sql table, which I restored to no avail. I also have a full backup, but it is a few months old, though not that much has happened since then. HostGator has a backup I could get from them to restore too. I really thought I was prepared with the sql backup, but apparently not. I like the idea of having a staging site and I will try your suggestions. Thanks again so much!
Thank you, also, Aaron. I thought you might know something that could have caused it right off the bat but I could not find the .maintenance file. I searched the entire public_html folder and it is not there. What am I missing?
Thank you so much gentlemen for your assistance!
