Update: I found out you can’t disable the job description field or the jobs won’t post. I need to be able t o post jobs without a free text editor. Is there a workaround?

Don’t get me wrong, I think what you’re doing is great and agree 100% on open source solutions and owning your data. I’ve used the SalesForces of the world and would much prefer a WP solution. I’ll go the GF route for adding contacts for now as I’m confident in their product as well.

Ok, so no adding WP Users by default, but can you see making this an option in the near future?

I really can’t imagine WP administrators won’t be asking for this feature. It begs the question, if I’m not using WP why would I choose to go through the process and cost of setting up a hosted version of WP so that I can use UkUUPeople to be my CMS? Would it not make more sense for people to just choose on of the dozens of SASS products on the market?

All this aside, if I buy the Gravity Forms add-on and have GF’s own registration add-on I’m assuming UKP will recognize these new users coming into the site via GravityForms, correct?

Sent my email but never did hear back on this. Still amazes me that the default would not be to have WP users added automatically. Why else use the plugin as a CRM if it doesn’t add your site users?

Really. My immediate thinking was this would be ideal for converting registered users into your CRM. This way, anyone adding UltimateMember or BuddyPress would be covered as well.

Not a UM problem I guess. Seems UP won’t recognize any new users I’m adding unless they are the original Admin members. Is this the desired approach – UP recognizes People added on the backend versus users who join a site via the front end?

Well recognizing new users added via UM would be a start. I’m surprised it’s not working actually since new Users created via UM assume the same roles as in default WP. It’s only at the community role state that UM adds any additional functionality.

This adds the New Search option, which works great, but the Clear option remains, no?

This would be a great addition to the plugin when searching Members and custom fields. Other options have this feature, with the search results landing on the Members page.

for me, I’m not sure I’d want the Resume directory showing when a user clicks My Resume. I think individual user resumes should be found, but not the full searchable directory underneath. I could see that getting messy.

I believe you’re right. After activation it works fine. Looking forward to the new version.
