So right now you can add tracking#, shipping provider and date shipped to an order. It’d be great to have another date picker for estimated date of arrival.

It seems there is a conflict somewhere.

I ended up delving into the code, and found a variable to force saving and just set it to true. So was able to see that this is meant to be what does happen. I’d need to troubleshoot more to see where the conflict is.

Obviously changing the core code isn’t the best solution, but at least the hack works so I’m happy for now. ??

Yep, that’s what I saw — but I didn’t hit “Publish” to save settings (?). Definitely not caching issue as this was a brand new install, and I also tried in a different browser.

In any case installing the older version did the trick, then I just upgraded that. But, installing a fresh install with the latest version I just couldn’t get it to save the settings (but, I didn’t go to the customiser and hit publish).

It seems it’s a newer version issue.

In the previous version of the plugin, there was a “Save” button at the bottom with a lot more fields under “Settings”. I installed the older version and was able to save the settings. Then upgraded to the new from there.

I believe in the new version some of the “Settings” have been moved elsewhere, and the “Save” button is no longer there which properly saves the settings when clicked.

Thanks, I may add in that code, I didn’t think it’d be changable in a filter. I actually ended up just disabling the Completed email, and utilising the “Delivered” status and email instead as the Dispatched email. More than two ways to skin a cat, and seems to well work well.

Having a separate ETA date field would be really great.

I did notice in the code there seems to be commons about a premium version, near different tracking statuses. Made me go looking whether there was a paid version I was missing. Sounds like it’ll become quite a powerful plugin if it will do auto tracking. Nice work.

Awesome, thanks. Some orders I flick between statuses after manually updating orders. Although by the time the tracking# is there orders would have been already updated.

Thinking of it, it probably isn’t a big issue. I just noticed the tracking info being added into those other emails when testing out your plugin. which I guess made me feel a little unsettled.

Moved to server in a different datacenter, and things work much better. Something was going wrong with upstream perhaps at previous DC. The server was more than adequate. So I’d recommend trying alternative web hosting in a different server location, also ensure you’re on a fast server.

I’ve got that plugin installed, and you can’t. So while other couriers show up (because they allow shiping 2 or more items), Sendle misses out — and would sometimes be cheaper if sending two packages individually.

With the advanced shipping packages addon, say you have 2 of the same pumps to deliver. Each one separately take up one of Sendle’s highest package. In the addon ideally you’d have a “Pump Package” that provides the one Sendle quote for both. It’d be up to the sender (i.e., myself) to know that’s actually 2 x Sendle packages.

Doesn’t anyone ever need to send 2+ packages with Sendle beyond that 25kg? It seems strange to keep the quote to just one package or nothing.
