This was built primarily for the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament. It wasn’t designed as a one size fits all solution for people who want to run ANY kind of bracket. We haven’t done any updates to it in 4 years either. I’m not a developer and I don’t have the time or resources to continue to improve it right now. I have young kids that take up my extra time. Sorry, it isn’t a great fit for you.

My best suggestion is you can actually edit the file for the tournament.

Look toward the bottom of lib/bracketpress-shortcodes.php for this block.

Then just delete one of those lines to get rid of whatever you don’t want to display.

We will be putting out an update, but I haven’t seen any features that are broke because of the latest version of WordPress. Hop over to https://www.bracketpress.com for support.

The location table is there for future use, but the locations can’t be entered from the backend currently.

No, this is not a bug. That is the intended function. Each user gets a bracket that they can then fill out and that can be scored against the master bracket. If you are using BracketPress just to display a single bracket, you would need to modify the code to not create new brackets for each member.

An update has been posted on the forum.

It should also be noted that this is not an ongoing bug in the plugin. It is isolated to people who had the plugin installed and whose users made selections before we made the last couple of updates.

Definitely welcome the input. Thinking it might be something related to the theme though. I can’t recreate it when using Twenty Twelve. That portion of the code is in lib/functions.php around line 80. Let me know what you figure out. Thanks!
