Yeah I found the solution, apart from changing “the_content” to “the_excerpt” in the apps/feature.php file for the blog entries to show excerpts you also need to make that same change to apps/blog.php so that not only the feature post shows only excerpts but also the blog entries.

The one thing that I haven’t figured out is how to make the blog excerpts and feature excerpt show the “featured image” as designated in the post itself, here I had to define the image in full size from the media files and place it in the manual excerpt field itself.

What it seems like is that the featured image in the excerpts is not defined and i haven’t found where to define it so far in the blog.php or feature.php file.

Yeah thanks I found that after making the post but I continue to have some issues related to the appearance of the excerpts.

https://www.jaimestolzfotografo.com appears fine with excerpts and all that while https://www.sexyfotografia.com appears without excerpts (full content) on the home page. For example it seems that the teaser doesn’t work at all.

I run MAC and have several blogs that I manage and all are 3.2.1 version so it is not related to MAC.

Understand that sometimes plugins that are installed in older versions of WP may not be 100% compatible with the upgraded versions of WP so to see if plugins are causing the issue you will need to deactivate all of them and test, then activate one by one until you find the one that is causing your issues.

Remember also to try Firefox for Mac if you think that maybe safari is causing the issues, I can’t use safari with one of my online banking websites, it just won’t work so I use firefox for most everything except general navigation on the web.
