Ahhhhh!~ thank you @awpcp – what a rookie error – it was my browser cache! my bad, thank you everyone for being so responsive and helpful.
Hi everyone – I’ve uploaded 5.8.2 – as expected it hasn’t altered the front end view of the Directory. (I say as expected – because I had 5.8.1 running on both my test site and my live site).
Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong? The test site https://new.animalstudies.org.au/member-profiles/ looks okay, and the live site https://animalstudies.org.au/member-profiles has lost all formatting.
thanks
Thanks @bobbied
Yes, we are using 5.8.1 on BOTH sites, with the same theme, and version of wordpress etc. That’s why I’m not sure about why it’s appearing so differently.
Good to know there is a known issue – hopefully 5.8.2 will fix the formatting on the live site – fingers crossed.
Sorry CSS is a little beyond me – thanks for the offer.

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] Where to put Meteor Slide code in TwentyTen header.phpHi Josh Leuze – not sure if I can contact you this way.
I’ve just updated my test site theme to the new Twenty Ten theme update. Of course the Meteor slide update no longer worked.
So I checked on GitHub and found your new code [which matched the new Twenty Ten header.php] and inserted it in exactly the same place – and I lost visibility of my site.Any ideas? Should I give up on a slide show header?
cheers

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] Where to put Meteor Slide code in TwentyTen header.phpfantastic –
should I take a copy of the header.php into texteditor for upgrades?
Also – just a query – why does it only work on the homepage?
Thanks so much – the best support ever!

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] Where to put Meteor Slide code in TwentyTen header.phpNo, I tried a few things – cutting text from Github into text editor before pasting, cutting and pasting directly from Github, typing myself … end result for each – site doesn’t load anymore. Is it time for me to give up? I wish TwentyTen just had this functionality built in – it’s the only thing left to try and do before we go live.
