you were right solo, they did recompile and left mod_rewrite out, in fact I searched the customer forums and found other wordpress users having the same problem. I sent them a friendly reminder so hopefully it will get solved soon.

hello handy, I have updated the permalinks, and checked the .htaccess file and everything seems to be fine. I have a sneaky suspicion it is something my host did as they just sent out an email about updating there domain management software…And its happening in multiple wordpress installs with different databases now…just thought someone would know what could cause this.

I recently started having the same problem, only I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary. My host recently upgraded to mysql 5.0 I am running wordpress 2.2 with the wp-cache plugin (it happens even if I clear the cache and deactivate the plugin)You seem to have fixed the problem you were having could you tell me what you did?

I think you will have better luck if you get in tuch with google and see what they have to say about this. At first blush it seems like the mulitple accounts and an if/then type setup might be best, but google will be able to help you out i am sure.

man it must be very late indeed. It seems i can not keep my file directorys clear, problem fixed by uploading the file INTO THE RIGHT FOLDER…sorry for taking up your space here.
