In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Message wrong, unable to reconfigure formAlso, I installed and activated ReCaptcha v2 for Contact Form 7. As far as I can tell, my Google reCAPTCHA admin page looks good, but when I put the [recaptcha] tag on the Form page, when I view the form, I get an error that says “ERROR for site owner: Invalid key type.” I’m not sure how to fix that. ??
Again, many thanks for your help!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Message wrong, unable to reconfigure formThe syntax error is related to the From field. I don’t remember how I originally had it set up, but both [your-name] and [your-email] caused syntax errors. I changed it so that the To and From fields were the same ([email protected]), but I’m not sure how that will affect the messages we receive. I would like the From field to display the email address of the person who completed the form, but perhaps that’s not possible?
After I fixed the syntax error on the From field, I changed the To field to my personal email address and completed the form using a different name and email address. However, after I clicked Send, I just got a spinning icon; it never did send anything. I’m not sure why that happened.
In addition, the Message Body field is set up like this:
From: [your-name] <[your-email]>
Subject: [your-subject]Message Body:
[your-message]—
This e-mail was sent from a contact form on Cincinnati Friends Meeting (https://cincinnatifriends.org)However, when someone does successfully complete the form, their email address does not appear after From, only the name appears. Fortunately, because Additional Headers is set to Reply-To: [your-email], we’re able to see the person’s email address when we reply. However, it would be nice to see it in the message body in case we need to forward the email rather than reply directly.
Thanks for any assistance you can provide!

Thanks so much! I didn’t even realize that the Donate button in the menu wasn’t working, either! I have no idea how those URLs could have gotten messed up, but I implemented your suggestions, and everything works great! Thanks again!
Thanks for the link to the documentation! I had created the webhook, but neglected to set it to receive all events. Now that that’s done, we should be good to go! Thanks you so much!
Thanks for responding! In spite of the JSON error, I decided to activate the page, make a couple donations myself, and see how it worked. (I later noticed on the GiveWP page that if I wanted to test the payment methods without actually making any payments, I would have to set up “sandbox” accounts for each gateway, and that seemed like a lot of trouble.) Anyway, the form worked great, and deposits went through, everything worked like a charm! (The credit card deposit is still labeled Pending, but I’m assuming that’s a bank thing rather than a GiveWP thing. If it doesn’t change to Completed in a week or so, I might post another issue!)
Our Financial Secretary was a little concerned that the donor’s name didn’t immediately appear on the Donations page. Initially, it just showed as (donor missing) until I looked at the Details page for the transaction and manually added the person to the Donors list. We’re a small organization, so creating a Donor list of 40-50 people shouldn’t be too onerous, but if there’s an automated way of doing it, that would be wonderful!
On the Settings > General page, Opt-In Type is set to Double Opt-In. However, on the Notifications page, Welcome Email is set to No. Would that have any effect on the admin receiving a notification of the subscription? According to the text on the page, I really only need a Confirmation Email, which is being sent.
Thanks! Re-uploading the images did the trick!
As for the slideshow problem, I’m assuming JS means JavaScript. I’m not sure how to troubleshoot that. I’ve got Java version 8 update 221, which is the latest available. I’ll tinker with it some more and see if I can get it to work.
I was using Basic Thumbnails. Maybe this is just a limitation of the free version? All the photos have to have the same orientation?
The same problem occurs with Basic Slideshow. On a related note, I although I’ve got Basic Slideshow set to Autoplay, it doesn’t fade from one photo to another, no matter what the transition speed or interval is.
And if I could request one feature, it would be to see the photos in the post while I’m writing it rather than having to click Done and then click Preview to see them.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons] Follow does nothingThanks, but I found a plug-in that’s easier to use.
I have just run into a similar problem, although in my case, only two of my accordions display the error. The other two are fine. Did you ever figure out a resolution to this, other than recreating the accordions? (In my case, the error occurred when I took our WordPress website live, so I had a backup copy. Still, it will be time-consuming to redo them.)

In reply to: Customize page crashesSorry I posted in the wrong place! I’ve never had an issue with WordPress itself before, and had a little trouble finding the appropriate forum.
In any case — I’ve been using Chrome, but clearing the cache did not help. However, I was able to successfully access the Customize page using Internet Explorer. (I’m having other issues with that browser, like buttons overlapping configuration options, but it’s usable.) So clearly it’s a browser problem. Thanks for the suggestion!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Give placeholder imageThanks so much! That worked, although I was hoping that the content would shift further to the left. Even after I changed the featured image size to thumbnail, half the page is still empty white space. Is there any way to eliminate that?
That must have been the case, because adding the tag in text mode did help! It seems strange that I didn’t have to do that with the first accordian I created (paragraphs occurred just when I pressed Enter), but at least now I have a workaround! Thanks!
