Thank you so much. Those videos are really helpful. One question – if you change CSS in the theme custom area, does it remain if the theme has an Update?

Got it back. My web host provider helped me. I had gone to the Appearance, Customize area a few times since updating to the latest version of WordPress and Customizr. And I did not see the Header area available to upload my logo. Today; however, I could see the Header area and was able to upload the logo.

Thank you for your reply. I discovered yesterday that it is related to my changing my site from http to https. I noticed that if I open any page other than my Home page and remove the s and refresh it, it does show my logo. Don’t know if that gives you any clues.

Then a message pointed me to Google Analytics and said I needed to reference the https there too. I have been trying to do that and have verified my site with a Google code but it won’t accept my site name. Not even sure if that has anything to do with the original problem.

Thank you for pointing me to a thread about this. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with making php files and child themes and it all sounds quite complicated. I was hoping there was someplace to just delete the code but I can’t get to the code. I am not sure if I have Modern or Classic. Is there some way to tell that?

I finally got it to work with the help of the third person I talked to ab Bluehost. It needed a setting in the plugin changed under Advanced Settings, Advanced EMail Settings, Send Email function needs to be changed from WordPress to PHP. Hope that helps someone. I have been trying to figure this out for over a week now.

I think there was an upgrade which changed the positioning of images in the sliders. I was using custom CSS to make my sliders 250 px high rather than the 500 px that the template comes with BUT with the last upgrade, all my slider images became bottom aligned vs top aligned. I had to resize all of my images to get them to fit in the sliders again after the last upgrade. I really love this template too and didn’t want to switch.

I ended up changing the size of all my slider images and now I am back in business. Weird though that they ever changed. I think there must have been an upgrade that affected the position of the images in the slider.

The slider size of 500 takes up too much space on the screen, so that is the reason for the custom CSS. In the past, the pictures were center aligned, but now they seem to be top aligned. I wonder if this is from an upgrade to Customizr.

At any rate, I am resizing the height of my images and that appears to be working. BUT, I have to do it outside of WordPress. When I try to edit an image in WordPress, I can crop it but then it doesn’t appear to Save and the Save button is greyed out. If you know of an easier way to resize the pictures that are already in my Media Library, that would be very helpful but so far, I have to do outside of WordPress, reupload to Media and relink the new photos to my slider.

It is set to center on any devices. I am resizing the height of my images and that appears to be working. BUT, I have to do it outside of WordPress.
