NOT sure if this has anything to do with anything, but I did go to Customizing, Advanced Options, CSS and I do have the following code there for a child theme.

}

}

I just Deleted my Posts and reposted them. Now they are not allowing comments which is what I wanted.

I am still seeing Comments. I might take the Post off and put it back on again and see what happens. On each Post, I have selected Screen options, and unchecked Discussion and Comments.
Under Settings, Discussion I have the following
Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article Check

Allow people to post comments on new articles Uncheck
Comment author must fill out name and email Check
Users must be registered and logged in to comment Check

Well, apparently it just takes awhile. I now see my first Post on my Blog page but it is quite a lengthy article and I only see some of the highlighted section titles and no way to scroll through the article. Something I am missing?

Thank you all. I see functions.php in the edit theme area on WordPress. Should I put the code above into the Appearance, Customize area under Custom CSS?
Otherwise from what I read when I would upgrade the Theme, the changes wouldn’t be saved?
It also talks about a Child Theme but I am not sure where that would be.

Got it figured out. Scroll bar was not evident but once I found it, the Save button was at the bottom.

Thank you all for your replies. I am making progress. The last snippet of code posted here will be helpful. I am trying to learn how to make a child theme right now so that I can do things like this. I have tried several themes and I really like Customizr so far. I just need to learn how to tweak for my purposes. The most frustrating thing to me is not being able to change font size and spacing in WordPress. Am I only limited to Header1, Header2, Header3, Header4, Header5, and Header6? Where are these defined? I was searching for a Plug In that would add font size and font name to the Visual Editor. Is there such a thing?

Is bootstrap scaffolding a plug in? I didn’t quite understand what to do with this. Thank you for your patience! I have developed Access databases for years but the web stuff is new for me.

I’m sorry. It is after I have inserted the image and then I select the image and choose Edit image button that I see the Advanced Settings.

So, I guess once big question is, should you edit an image in the image storage, or on the page and what are the pros and cons of using these two things? For me, I had hoped to be able to insert an image and drag to the preferred size on my page but I don’t see that I can really do that with this Customizr template.
