In reply to: [Footnotes Made Easy] ToolTip Only option?Feel free to open a pr in github, and we can continue discussing it there, as currently i can not think of a solution which does not include additional JS, so it will be interesting to see what you have in mind.

In reply to: [Footnotes Made Easy] MariaDB ver 10.6There are no direct DB calls or fancy queries, the plugin is using and relying on core WP layers and functionalities.
So – the long story short- if WP is working fine with it, that plugin also will.
Glad to hear that.
Closing this then
There is a new version – 2.4.5 which solves this problem, please check it.

In reply to: [Footnotes Made Easy] New update shows directly the reference within the textThe only possible solution I can recommend you is to stay with the 2.3 and ignore any future updates (sorry for that) unless there is no specific note about fixing the issue.
Hope that there will be more information about the problem or maybe some way to reproduce it…

In reply to: [Footnotes Made Easy] New update shows directly the reference within the textInteresting, can you please paste the raw text – no need to be the whole thing, just the part that is related to the footnote itself.
As far as I can see – there is no space before “((“, would you please confirm that there is no space also set in the General Settings->Open footnote tag, or just screenshot the markup section of the settings, so far I can not reproduce this unfortunately…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Footnotes Made Easy] New update shows directly the reference within the textNo – sorry to hear that. I’m not sure that I understand the problem. Can you please give me an example.

In reply to: [Footnotes Made Easy] Anchor Link PositioningSorry for the late reply.
The plugin only marks the positions, the functionality itself is left to your browser and of course CSS/JS which you are using, or maybe some elements are hovering the anchors.
Is there a staging / live where this can be observed ?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Footnotes Made Easy] some v2.x bugsThat’s actually could also be an option in settings- you can decide where is more convenient for you.
Good one – will implement that – thanks again!
