In reply to: [Comment Edit Core - Simple Comment Editing] timer doesn't workHello again, I spoke too soon … still having problems with the timer. Not getting the undefined thing, but when the count down is happening, if I refresh the page, more time gets added to the timer … sometimes much more than 5 minutes. Not sure if it is a cache or cookie thing … please check into it. Thanks again!

In reply to: [Comment Edit Core - Simple Comment Editing] timer doesn't workHey Ronald, how are you? Guess what? I figured it out … problem solved! I use Amazon’s cloudfront cdn and sometimes when I update something, the cdn cache doesn’t always clear right away, or it takes 24 hours or more to clear. And even though updating a plugin usually forces the cache to clear, it didn’t with your plugin … strange. I have two cloudfront cdn distributions setup, so what I did was disable the cdn I was using, and tried the plugin, and the timer worked … yes! And then, I enabled the other distribution, and again … the timer worked, no problem! Thank you very much for your attention and help! Best regards, Steve

In reply to: [Comment Edit Core - Simple Comment Editing] timer doesn't workHello Ronald, how are you? Yes, but … my site is password protected, so I have to set up a username and password for you. I’d rather email that info to you, instead of posting it here. Can you give me an email address? Actually, you can send an email to me at [email protected] and I will return the email with the login info … okay? Thank you!

In reply to: [Comment Edit Core - Simple Comment Editing] timer doesn't workHello again, I tried deactivating and then reactivating simple comment editing, but that did not work. I deactivated all other plugins, and then reactivated them one by one including my cache plugin (WP-Rocket), and that did not work. It does not work with IE or Google Chrome. But, it does work on a mobile devise using Android … strange. Please advise. Thank you!
Hello Ronald, thank you very much for your follow up and reply … understood! Thanks again, Steve
Hello again, I just checked again … it seems that if person A and person B use the same computer (something to do with cookies??) then yes, person B can edit person A’s comment. I tested it this way with one computer. I logged in as person A and posted a comment and then logged out. Then, I logged in as person B, and was able to edit person A’s comment. But, if person A uses one computer, and person B uses another computer, then person B cannot edit person A’s comment. Make sense? Would like to get verification on this … thank you in advance!

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] "0 Cached Pages"I am following up on my initial post again. It seems that pages are NOT cached for logged in users. For my site, 99% of what happens is with logged in users, so I want pages to be cached for them. The box that says “Don’t cache pages for known users. (Recommended)” is NOT checked, but it seems that it’s not working …(sniff sniff, tears in my eyes) please help?
