However I did finally remove Envira as I no longer need it, I have combined all my photo stuff into one gallery plugin.

It’s a pretty sad day when we have to disable a plugin because we are working in admin. This error happens to me in galleries mainly, both Envira and Nexgen. I couldn’t even update the photocrati updates because of this error until I disabled wordfence. With Envira, I couldn’t use images I’d already uploaded to the Media library. I had to actually reupload the images to get them to show up. I get it, it’s probably a plugin conflict, but we should be able to disable this feature in Wordfence without having to disable wordfence itself. I do not have the time or patience to deal with forums and hoping an answer will come, nor do I have the time to track something that may or may not be caused by a different plugin, when one plugin seems to be causing the issue itself. I’ve installed a different firewall at this point, and guess what.. it’s working fine.. sadly, wordfence will just become a memory for me. I was very happy with Wordfence, sadly, you should have thought of those of us who use it, whether it’s the free or pro version of the software.

You really need to give plugin creators the benefit of the doubt, no matter that they are from Asia, most pro writers or even free writers who are willing to take a look need an admin access, sometimes even ftp access. You don’t have to give them your personal access, you can make a test user profile and add them as a admin so they can look at the problems. Once they are done, you simply remove the test user profile. I’m far more likely to give admin access than I am teamviewer, but even with teamviewer, you can see everything they are doing on your pc.

Keeperbay, it was a nexgen conflict that was causing my problem. I had other download plugins that worked fine, so it wasn’t a site or hosting problem. ??

Strange, if I hadn’t let my own stubborness about this plugin get in my way, I would have had it fixed long ago. I had given a 1 star review as well, but changed it today based on the fact that yesterday just out of the blue I really wanted that plugin working again so I wrote them and it was fixed within 24 hours. I to had requested a paypal refund back in Nov/Dec and had been refused, I didn’t like that I was going to lose that money, but I was to stubborn at the time to work with Shaon. But I really missed several of the plugins abilities that you get with the paid version and wanted the problem fixed.

My problem was a nexgen gallery conflict, the fix is actually on the forum at there site, perhaps your solution has also been posted their as well. At least have a look.

thank you, but I’d already figured out how to change the css, and am not even sure what that had to do with my question in the first place.

Sooooo, I’m willing then, how would I go about changing that code to remove the link on title/name, image, and the view button? I just don’t want that additional page to open, I don’t need it and think it’s confusing to my visitors as to why it’s there.

As an additional note here, I guess I’d need to remove the “View” button as well.

Thanks for the quick response. I would even be willing to pay to have that extension removed option before I start the heavier work load of many images in one album.

I don’t want my images downloaded either, since there is no real reason for them to download them being that the images will come in the downloaded file as it is, so there’s no need for them to download them.

I’ll talk to my host today and see if I can’t get that number upped a bit. I find that interesting that the number would be so low but they’d allow 1 file at 350 megs.. LOL

This gallery is so perfect for me and I really love how easy it is to use.

Setapart, I should write that better.

When the photo name is showing below the image, there is a link on the photoname, that is the download link.

Setapart, they download by clicking on the photo filename image.

I am curious if it’s possible to turn off the download photo’s ability?

Sorry Zefta, couldn’t be online till now. I installed the update, and still have the same error, even with the images.

ok, doing some more testing here, I moved the images up 1 folder, and now the images appear again.. the folder I’d put these in was a newly created folder in what is like /uploads/bloghops/newfolder they are now just in /uploads/bloghops/

I’m going to leave them there, because while I don’t have really any visitors yet, I know I’ve had a few and need those images to be working.
