Momentary fix:

Rollback to 3.8 and don’t update until NextGen knows what it’s doing, I guess.

Also had trouble with update.
Our comic site seemed to go a bit wonky. We’re not sure what happened.
Can someone explain how to restore the previous version of a plug in?

Looks like I’m done recommending NextGen to people, which is sad. I was really enjoying the software a lot.

It’s rather irresponsible of people to update software without checking the new WordPress updates first.

Well, I tried placing it in “themes” folder also, and still not any changes apparent to me. Am I missing any additional information? Thanks.

I placed the folder in “wp-content”.

So…what’s supposed to happen, do I now have a new option someplace? I haven’t noticed any changes as of yet. =)

Do I place the “Child theme” directory in the enigma-parallax folder, or do I place it elsewhere?
Nothing seemed to happen, or do I now have an option to make changes in the theme?

I had something else in custom CSS from before so the contents now read:

.enigma_footer_widget_column {
display: none !important;
}
.enigma_carousel-navi {
display: none !important;
}
