I have also looked into that, and intuitively I would say not without changing Code. If anyone else knows better I would also appreciate to know about it.

But creating a child theme and adding the code mentioned above should not be a big deal…

Or you have to select a default image, lets say the company logo, and add it to every post without an own featured image. Time consuming but easy to do and no coding required and easy to use in future as well.

But if the client can not afford to pay he somehow should understand that he can’t have everything ??

It partly worked, it doesnt resize anymore (which was my most important concern), but still it adds the image to the media library as an entry like this:

(no title)

And, since the resized images dont exist anymore, it of course does not have any preview. Any idea how to solve this?

Just for the others to let you know: I downgraded Nextgen Gallery and all problems are gone! Since many have problems with v2, waitung for another update could help…

Sorry for the late answer… Somehow I did not get a notification.

I dont see all of my friends pictures. Lets say 8 people liked it, 4 of them are my friends in FaceBook. But only 2 images are displayed for example. And I don’t get the reason.

I had the entries for the rewritemod twice in the file, somehow installing a forum crashed the file…
I just renamed the file, (the forum is out anyway) and let WP recreate the htaccess when changing permalink structure. That made a fresh one and now it is working ??

This had to do write the Apache rewrite_module.

How exactly did you fix it? Only default permalinks work. And the htaccess is correct…

Ah I found out something else:
Permalinks= default: posts work, pages not
Permalins= day and name: pages work, posts not ?!

I don’t get where this comes from…

Hi Ryan, Do you happen to know if NextGEN use jQuery Cycle plugin ? If that’s the case, it’s possible that these two are loading same plugin. I would try to dequeue and re enquqe Oxygen’s version of jQuery Cycle script making it load conditionally on front page only. AND make NextGEN version to not load on front page.

And how does that work?
When i disable Nextgen Gallery my page looks normal…

Would love this feature! Having many posts, it is much work to update post locations.

It would be a great help if the post location could be shown in the “all posts” overview and if you could edit the location of a selection of several posts at once.
Or at least quick edit it…
