I think I didn’t explain this properly.
It does not get filtered out. There is no username in there.
The board sends the emails according to the users settings / preferences in the project management.

It is really only about creating a visual relation between the message and the user that this email is sent to.
BUT I just realized that I made a thinking error.
When somebody is watching a task and gets an email because of that, the email address in the subject or message content will not help, because the task that this message is related to, could be a task that was assigned to someone else.

So there is actually no simple way to make sure that the message that comes from fluentboards and is triggered by the email that the system sends, is showing the user or email address that this task was assigned to.
I falsely assumed that just adding the email address to the message, would make the identification possible.

Sorry to bother you with this. I didn’t think it through enough. I think the best way to approach this is to find out if there is any customization possible from the side of the fluent boards email functionality.

It’s a shame but I think there is currently no easy way to make the telegram messages useful in this context.

It looks fine. It’s the same text.
But the email is only relevant in terms of the trigger for the telegram message and the content that is automatically sent to Telegram.
I can’t modify the email content because FluentBoards does not offer this feature.
So I thought modifying the message subject or content through the template with an extra variable could be an option.

It’s there now. It seems that it took a while to get into the FB cache.

Haha… so funny, I just realized that it is you, who made the other plugin I just mentioned.

I hope to find time soon to make some suggestions on how to integrate this and connect it with a modal window that maybe opened from the admin bar. Would come super handy, I think!

I am planning to have a closer look at this plugin

and maybe just implement a link in the admin menu that opens a modal window which shows the trees. I think this will be easier to handle and can even accommodate more features because there will be more space in a modal window.

Actually I just did a lot of testing on that old website, running Cforms Version 10.5 and it seems fine. I could not reproduce the error my friend told me about.
I probably don’t go experimental on mixing this prehistoric WP with the newest of Cforms. I have the feeling there are just too many factors that could cause problems.
