@artyvenel21 apologies for the late reply.
I’ve replied to your email.
@awesomemonster had you contact me through the plugin contact form, raising these issues? I can’t seem to find any email reporting similar issues.
Replying to your questions:
1) Job descriptions look like garbage and I’ve tried every combination of settings to get it to display better. It’s just garbled junk that barely makes any sense, much less provide users with a clear job description
I assume you’ve used the scraper? The scraper pulls descriptions “as is” from the provider site, but its agnostic to the style used to format the description. Specially when the description does not use standard HTML. Looking at descriptions on job listing in Careerjet in particular, instead of regular HTML breaks “<br>”, it uses tags like “<span class=”br”>”. The scraper does not know what to do with these tags. Thats why some text will not look properly formatted. The plugin provides some options to format the text, but it relies mainly on standard HTML.
2) I can’t get this plugin to pull in Company logos, even when I enable scraping. They aren’t in the media library, and just keep showing the default image. The support article here did nothing to offer a real solution.
I’ve just tested importing some jobs, and enabling the company logo scraper, and I got company logos. Not for all jobs, as not all jobs provide them, but they are being pulled, when available.

If you want to share the exact feed URL you are using, I can take a look. You can send me a message through the plugin contact form.

@diablo2, apologies for the late reply.
At the moment, that is not possible. I’ll consider adding it as an option.
@kreowsky, for the field to show up on the list of custom fields, it needs to be already present on an existing job. Go Fetch Jobs, build the list of fields by scraping your current jobs database.
You just need to draft (and save) a “dummy” job, with that field filled with any dummy data. After you save the job, the field should show up on the list of custom fields.
Hello @mukape,
If you can share the RSS feed I can take a look. You can share it privately, through the plugin contact form.

In reply to: [Go Fetch Jobs (for WP Job Manager)] I want to buy but No SupportHello @aushaih,
apologies for the very late reply.
The Professional plan allows you to use API’s. You’ll just need to apply as a publisher on the respective API website.
“and for the ATS’s, can i import job for any recruiter …”
For all of the ATS’s, you’ll need to know the company ID/token/subdomain. For JazzHR, you’ll also need to request an API key.
ATS’s are mostly meant for companies/users that want to show their jobs on a job board.

In reply to: [Go Fetch Jobs (for WP Job Manager)] I want to buy but No SupportHello @aushaih,
I might have missed your email. The website does contain a contact form that you can use.
What questions do you have?
Hello,
- Can you please elaborate on your first question?
- This depends on the feed you use, and if you have a Free or Premium plan. Premium plans provide a scraper that can pull full job descriptions, for most of the pre-set providers. The scraper is not available for custom feeds.
@justinc8285, please make sure you have the option ‘Allow Visitors to Apply’ checked, under Go Fetch Jobs > Settings > Jobs

In reply to: [Go Fetch Jobs (for WP Job Manager)] Import Indeed@wgruppe2021, Indeed no longer provides RSS feeds and as far as I’m aware, they are no longer supporting their jobs API.
Go Fetch Jobs, does support these ATS’s:
- JazzHR
- Greenhouse
- Recruitee
If you publish your jobs on either of these ATS’s, you can import them to your job board through Go Fetch Jobs.

Please check on this page how to look for javascript errors,
Please enable this, and then reload the Import hobs page. You should then see any Javascript errors on your browser console. Please take some some screenshots of your browser console, and share it here or through the plugin contact form.

In reply to: [Go Fetch Jobs (for WP Job Manager)] Has stopped workingThank you for the screenshots. A couple more questions:
- Can you please tell me what version of the plugin are you running? If you are running a version prior to 1.8.1.2, can you please update and check if the problems persist?
- Do you get any errors when you click on Save Template?
- When you try to save a template, and then click Refresh on the Templates dropdown. Do you see the saved template?

In reply to: [Go Fetch Jobs (for WP Job Manager)] Has stopped working@hakunder I did not delete your message. Looks like you had posted your question on a existing thread, belonging to other user and a WordPress Org moderator moved your question.
I’ll ask the same thing I had asked previously, before your message moved.
Can you please provide as much details as possible about the issues you’re having creating templates? Do you get any errors or warnings? Can you provide screenshots? To be able to help you I’ll need as much details as possible about the issues you’re having.
If you have any sensitive data that you don’t want to share here through screenshots, you can use the contact form available inside the plugin.

In reply to: [Go Fetch Jobs (for WP Job Manager)] Stopped Importing@trickshot699, apologies for the late reply. Indeed started blocking http requests to their feeds. Because of this, recent versions of Go Fetch Jobs will display a warning to the user and also suggest using alternative providers.
