Yeah, I realize now that most people probably would prefer the dropdown to stay closed. We wrote it to open for another project and I just folded it back into the plugin without really thinking about it. I’ll fix it in the next release, but in the meantime, you can comment out lines 252 and 253 of /js/wpus-main.js

Hi Bis,

We’ve just released an update to the plugin which will allow you to search by user, and see that user’s posts. You can also search forums, topics, and replies. Unfortunately you can’t search user profiles yet, but it’s in the works.

Just wanted to give you a heads up, we just released an update to the plugin which will let you confine all searches to a single taxonomy. It’s not exactly what you were looking for, but it’s a big step in that direction. Give it a try if you have a minute and let me know what you think.

It’s something we’d like to do eventually, but it will require significant changes to the underlying framework… so it’ll be a while before it happens.

And yes, you can search with multiple tags and categories.

Hey, sorry, I haven’t been on here in forever. I’m disappointed to hear that the plugin didn’t work out for you. Were you able to tell which kinds of sale data was being duplicated? Maybe a simple case of all sales getting recorded twice, or was it less predictable? We’d love to try and get this working properly for more users if we can. Thank you!

Have you tried changing to a different theme, and/or disabling all plugins? We haven’t encountered this error before, it’s likely a conflict with other code running on your site.

The search results are intended to go underneath the search bar, however I don’t think this is causing the error in this case.. it’s probably caused by an error in your theme. You could try making a custom WordPress search results template and using the template tags, see: https://mindsharelabs.com/kb/installation/

This isn’t currently possible. I’ve added it to our ideas board.
