I deleted and the reinstalled tinymce.

I have pretty much done everything from the “my site is hacked” post. I could run a backup but I have over 1000 GB of data….so it takes a really long time to backup.

I would much rather run a script to remove all of the var _0xa687 instances and know that this can be done….I just don’t know how to do it ??

Any ideas?

OK,

So I was able to figure out why I could not change the default email address under setting or in the user profile. This was also affecting the contact forms located on all of the subsites.

What I had to do was go into cpanel under “MX Entry Maintenance” and then make sure that under Email Routing that “Remote Mail Exchanger” is selected. That was it ??

I don’t believe that the link you provided has anything to do with what I am talking about. In the past I never had to edit any files to get the email to work correctly and I don’t think that WP would have made it so that you need to remember to change the code every time you upgrade.

Does anyone else have a suggestion that has to do with the server/host side?

before I edit any files I should say that issue is on a subdomain of my WP Multisite installation. I don’t know if that makes any difference.

Should I continue with your suggestion?
