Thanks for checking – I am honestly just as confused by this. They said to me “our system said there were no links present in the story. I initially thought the error was on our end, but after we did some digging, it looks like the content is actually contained in a container within the HTML. I checked this in a third-party tool, AHREFS, as well. According to AHREFs, your site has zero outbound links, which is really odd.”

They are saying its all the articles on my site – not showing up as having outbound links (even though they obviously do). Please look at this article page:

Thanks Andrew! Yes, that was my next step to possibly switch themes to see if it resolves the issue, but I need to get access to the testing tool… hopefully only temporarily b/c I have 4 sites using your theme & dialed in nicely. That would be great if you can take a look at the structure for me – can I email you a link rather than post here?

This problem has been resolved…here’s what happened..
(Update to help anyone else in the future!)

I was previously using a temporary URL as I am busy working on migrating the site to a new hosting provider. Suddenly the hosting provider disabled use of temp URLs and told me to use a Chrome plugin called Virtual Host to switch IP addresses so my browser would hit the new site I am working on while using old domain name.

This didn’t fool Java Script which blocked a cross-origin ajax call. I stopped using the Chrome plugin and changed my local host file to have the domain name point to the temporary site and that fixed it!

I did see some articles about potential hardcoded files in NextGen database and none of that turned out to be true.

Thanks Cais – I tried this before under Other Options with the NextGen plugin, and then I tried this again with the link you just provided. It has not changed anything.

Basically, when I try to upload a new image into the gallery I now get a yellow triangle with ! in it – the image doesn’t load.

Is the old domain hardcoded somewhere in the plugin database?

Hi Andrew – thanks for this… looks like it is almost there…

The sidebar content is now blank but the content itself on the post is not full width. I also still see the border between the content & sidebar space. Perhaps the CSS needs to be edited slightly?

Here’s the solution – edit the home page where it is listed under PAGES and not the Custom Home Page created by PageBuilder. Works perfectly. THANKS!

Unfortunately I am still seeing the same problem on the custom home page – the editor is not showing properly… but it does seem to work OK on other pages.
