In reply to: [qTranslate X] How to clone text in pages?Hi John,
I mean after I enabled the new language, when I edit a page, I could see language tabs appeared (etc. English, Spanish). I would like to just copy the existing content to the new language tab of the same page so when people switch to the new language, they will see the same content, instead of seeing the empty page with message that the page is not available for that language. Is that the way to do such copy fast for many pages at once?
Thank you

In reply to: [Asgaros Forum] Facebook like button problemI changed the Permalinks of the website to Plain view like https://luckystarshotel.ru/wp/?page_id=199 and facebook could read the parameters and return the canonical URL as https://luckystarshotel.ru/wp/?page_id=199. But when it comes to the forum’s URL, the fetched URL https://luckystarshotel.ru/wp/?page_id=159&view=thread&id=139 returns the canonical https://luckystarshotel.ru/wp/?page_id=159.

In reply to: [Asgaros Forum] Facebook like button problemI looked at the link and related links you provided, people say that Facebook like button ignore URL parameters, others say it does not, need correct parameters. Anyway the asgaros forum’s parameters are perfect, I applied javascript method encodeURI() to the links for sure and they stay the same.

In reply to: [Asgaros Forum] Facebook like button problemThank you so much for looking at my problem.
I checked the Facebook Sharing debugger tool and it says that the fetched URL https://luckystarshotel.ru/wp/forum/?view=thread&id=99 returns the canonical URL https://luckystarshotel.ru/wp/forum/ which is a page with the shortcode [forum].
Like button works almost the same way as SEO checkers. I see that the forum can count views for each thread so it’s possible to differentiate each topics, but I don’t know if it’s a way for users to do the same ??

In reply to: [Asgaros Forum] Facebook like button problemThe like buttons point to forum’s threads, not in the forum. As I said in the comment above, you can look at this page https://luckystarshotel.ru/wp/test/
The 2 first like buttons point to the threads’ addresses:
<div class=”fb-like” data-href=”https://luckystarshotel.ru/wp/forum/?view=thread&id=99″ data-width=”500″ data-layout=”button_count” data-action=”like” data-show-faces=”false” data-share=”false”></div>
<div class=”fb-like” data-href=”https://luckystarshotel.ru/wp/forum/?view=thread&id=19″ data-width=”500″ data-layout=”button_count” data-action=”like” data-show-faces=”false” data-share=”false”></div>
They are different forum topics, but the like button consider them as 1 page.

In reply to: [Asgaros Forum] Facebook like button problemOh sorry ??

In reply to: [Asgaros Forum] Facebook like button problemSure, https://luckystarshotel.ru/wp/forum/
Here I created 4 Like buttons for different addresses, you can see that the 2 with forum addresses are counted together while the other pages are counted separately: https://luckystarshotel.ru/wp/test/
Btw I tried several plugins but they all create the Like button for the specific post inside that post, in my case I would like to have many Like buttons that show up on 1 page and point to different pages ??

In reply to: [Asgaros Forum] Facebook like button problemThank you for the answer. I generated the Facebook like button here https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button and they give the code like this:
<div class=”fb-like” data-href=”LINK ADDRESS” data-width=”500″ data-layout=”button_count” data-action=”like” data-show-faces=”false” data-share=”false”></div>
The only different is the link address. I tried it with pages’ addresses and it works fine, I tried with WordPress posts’ addresses and it also works correctly.
But when I used the threads’ addresses, it works like they are the same address so liking one button will result in liking all other buttons (they don’t count separate).
It’s so strange so I thinks it’s better to let you know about this issue. I will try to find something with plugins instead.
Thank you very much.

In reply to: [Front End Users] Nothing worksHi,
Sorry I didn’t read all the description. I don’t really need to WP registration, I hoped the FEU should allow me to somehow control the users’ access to contents in forum, but I couldn’t find anyway to do that with FEU. If there is a way, can you please tell me? Thanks for replying. I will change my rating later.

In reply to: [Front End Users] Nothing worksHi,
The thing is the plugin is separate from the default meta registration. It does not recognize the existed users, including the admin. I have an asgaros forum and when I set the forum’s option to show to users only, the FEU users can’t get into the forum.
