Managed to add with WP editor plugin but still didn’t work…

I tried and got the following error: Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.

It’s not allowing me to login at all now. Nightmare. I managed to update the wordpress and then it chucked me out again and came up with that message.

Hi Steve,thanks for your reply. I already tried the deactivate plugins via that link as I’m not able to access wp-admin but no joy.

My host provider advised the following: It appears that an update has been run on your website and it has taken it down, this commonly happens when a plugin/theme is updated and does not work on the version of WordPress you are running’. Their solution is to do a backup which comes with an annual fee.

That worked but it made the next page smaller. Any ideas how I make all of the categories/products display the same size?
