I want also a static home page

My problem is that for some reason the url:
https://www.mecardeoxinternet.com/blog/ is showing me an error, the rest is working fine and I don’t know why. I did work for me in the beginning
though.

I have another question. Is it possible to change the styles of the plugin so letters will display bigger, place a background for the breadcrumbs or make links show in another color just like Joost has in his blog? If so, where? Thanks.

What templates? I was reading that wordpress has the following templates:
* Header – header.php
* Sidebar/Menu – sidebar.php
* Content – index.php, single.php, page.php, category.php, author.php, search.php, etc.
* Footer – footer.php

Also, where exactly within the template’s code? Anywhere?

It is that hard? I thought I just had to download the CMS, and that to configure it wasn’t going to be that bad. Can you refer to me any document to read related to the subject?

Also what happens to the URL’s of the old blog I had, are they going to be broken links once I move it to the new one, do I have to do 301 redirects.
