Actually Amelia WP was not the problem, it was the Brevo extension that was sending the emails (I had forgotten about it). Now that I’ve deactivated Brevo, Suremail is sending the emails.

It actually works well. I’ve deactivated all the chrome extensions (including an ad blocker) and all the reviews have been downloaded. Thank you very much for your support!

I’ve just done this on two different websites.

Now the behavior is different: the popup opens and closes immediately, but the new reviews are not downloaded.
Moreover, I can’t download any new reviews for another 8 days.
