Same here, despite ShortPixel optimising them, all images are still quoted as being too big, one infact says that it could have a 98% reduction in size!!

ShortPixel, I appreciate that you want to inspect individual cases, but please stop responding and asking people to use your Contact Form – deal with issues here so that others can find a simple solution too.

It is such a shame, I am desperate to use this plugin as no other plugin matches my needs ?? i too have tried but neither front-end or back end submission works, it just says “No ideas found”..

If the developers are interested, we could do a screenshare to try to troubleshoot this issue?

Sadly, I just can’t trust this plugin, it is too unpredicable and has now caused me to lose an image which I’ll have to manually replace.

Ah…I take that back, now it’s actually blanking images (turning them white) in some cases when I apply the watermark, if I remove the watermark I’m still left with a blank image ??

@jory, I just uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it and it is now working perfectly? Could this have perhaps been a permissions issue or similar?

p.s. If I enable ‘Automatic Watermarking On Upload’, then the watermarks are applied perfectly to the uploaded images, the issue only appears to be applying watermarks to existing images.

99% wrong Jory unfortunately. I’m a web guy and fully understand browser caching but it isn’t that. The images aren’t committed/saved in my instance ??

I’m using the latest version of Pretty Link and this error just occurred for me out of the blue. I applied the fix as per above and now its all working…why would this hit me spontaneously like this, and is it still awaiting fix in the core dev?

Could really do with some help on this guys, I’m stumped ??
