I reinstalled the Wholesale Prices plugin. This time the translation process worked.
The translated text is now displayed in the front-end.

Hi again,

For practical reasons, I installed the Loco Translate plugin. It is a lot easier to carry the editing process from within WP.
I translated the text, saved the alterations but lo and behold, still no translation in the front end.

What could be missing?
