At post time – or sometimes a few minutes after post time. Whenever I click publish on any post that uses javascript, something is stripping out the javascript tags. I disabled every plug-in I had and re-enabled them one at a time. It turned out to be this one. Then, I re-enabled every plug-in except this and the problem went away. The issue only occurs when this plug-in is enabled.

So, here is a post I was having a problem with

The embed code is supposed to look like this:

It does the exact same thing with RaffleCopter as well, and one other giveaway platform that required embedding javascript code. It also has done it with a couple of my sponsors that have a javascript embed I place in posts about their products.

BTW, I have already tried the Text-Control plugin that WordPress recommended and it’s still doing it.

It was Smush.it for me as well – however, I have had Smush.it for a while and it operated just fine until the latest WP roll-out. Apparently, it’s not compatible with the latest build. I hope they fix that soon. Smush.it is a pretty valueable plug-in

Thank you. I had to actually edit the code in /lib/functions.php of VibeSEO pack as there was no way to change it in the options for that plug-in. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

I figured it out – for anyone else having this problem – it’s actually in the file sidebar.php. I don’t believe I missed it the first time.

Free? I offered to pay for the support through the support tab – so yeah – take my business elsewhere. Glad you think it’s so funny. Besides – that was posted 4 months ago and I still haven’t gotten any help with it. Additionally, that wasn’t posted to Fred Townes – I didn’t add the tag for his program – somebody else did.

I had submitted a support request through the dashboard, and never heard back from anyone with w3 Total Cache – which is why I switched to a different caching system. If you are still willing to help me, I would consider switching back. I was having several problems with it.

I had a problem with w3 Total Cache serving my custom 404 to some visitors sometimes for some reason. I never was able to figure out what the problem was and uninstalled it.

Thanks – I have tried flushing the cache and everything – so I am not sure what is going on with it. It’s obviously something on my end though.
