For anyone else having this issue, I replaced Admin Menu Manager with the better maintained Admin Menu Editor.

FYI, I finally figured out what the issue is.

Your plugin is not compatible with the plugin Admin Menu Manager.

When I disable Admin Menu Manager, I can access my settings in MonsterInsights.

Yours is the only plugin I’ve used that has this problem.

I hope this information will be helpful to someone else and that you can make your plugin compatible with Admin Menu Manager, which really helps me organize the admin area in ways that make it easier for my clients to manage their WordPress sites.

I uninstalled completely and reinstalled. Still cannot access settings. Same error. Can you at least let me know what I need to clear out of the database to truly reset this?

If I delete and re-install from scratch, how much data will I lose? Maybe that will fix the problem, but I don’t want to lose stats. Are they stored in the database, or are they just stats from google re-interpreted and charted through your plugin?

    Admin user. Single site.

Updated to 4.8.0. Seems OK now. It would have been nice to get some kind of notice from devs that this issue was acknowledged and fixed.

I have the same issue here. Had to delete the plugin plus several others updated at the same time to get the site to work again. Added back the deleted plugins one by one. As soon as I re-activated the Newsletter plugin, site broke again. Deleting only newsletter didn’t bring it back. Had to delete all the plugins updated with it to get the site back.

I got this issue after the update function in the admin failed and I tried to manually update.

I think it’s being caused by W3 Total Cache. The issue for me was that I needed to disable all plugins by renaming the plugin folder temporarily, but the admin refused to work without W3 Total Cache active.

    So I did the following:

    1. Download a copy of .htaccess (NOTE: this is the .htaccess file from your web ROOT) and name it .htaccess.bak. Save it somewhere safe.
    2. Edit the existing .htaccess on the server so that it ONLY contains what is between # BEGIN WordPress and # END WordPress.
    3. On your server, go to /wp-content. Rename the plugins folder to plugins.bak
    4. In your browser, go to https://YOURDOMAIN.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php. This should work fine now. Follow prompts, update database.
    5. After database update is successful, rename plugins.bak back to plugins.
    6. Replace the edited .htaccess on your server with the file you saved as .htaccess.bak (obviously, rename it back to .htaccess).

Aha. I see where you’re going. Yes, the poll question has parentheses () in it. Do you think this is causing the problem–that the parentheses are not escaped?

    No.

    The following JS error:

Uncaught SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list

admin.php?page=wp-polls%2Fpolls-manager.php&mode=logs&id=9:849 Uncaught SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list

    Polls >
    Manage Polls >
for specific poll click Logs >
scroll down to “Delete Poll Logs” >
Under “Are You Sure You Want To Delete Logs For This Poll Only?”
    Check “Yes” >
Click button “Delete Logs For This Poll Only”

    …nothing happens.

I tried in different browsers on both Mac and Windows.

    Same here.
