I’ll check out the Learning Mode. No reports about any message from Wordfence from the users. I have faced such a message before though, like 403 forbidden and am asked to whitelist the action.

But I’m unable to use the Live Traffic area properly. It doesn’t filter well for me, and sometimes gets stuck on loading. I’ll try it again. How old can I access the logs there? Does it store for a week or so back? (I tried giving input for the dates; just didn’t work well for me. I’ll try again). I’m not getting results for older than 20 hours..

I’m facing the same issue. What’s the solution? The search icon and social icons are not working for me with this plugin. They’re showing characters instead of the icon. I use MaxCDN, which I’ve integrated with this plugin. Tried purging all cache in MaxCDN as well as the plugin; didn’t help. Tried disabling gzip compression but that didn’t help either.

I’ve disabled caching for logged-in users, and the icons appear correctly if I’m logged in. They don’t for non-logged-in users (which is 99% of my traffic).

Unfortunately the issue is back again.

This time a very important page doesn’t does open fine when I’m not logged into my site (as admin), but if I’m logged in I get a HTTP 500 error. The source code is blank. The debug logs show nothing related to this as well.

In Page Cache, I have these two ticked:

1. Don’t cache pages for logged in users (Unauthenticated users may view a cached version of the last authenticated user’s view of a given page. Disabling this option is not recommended.)

2. Don’t cache pages for following user roles: Administrator

Unticking #1 and letting #2 be ticked helped; the page was visible again. It says Disabling this option is not recommended. I hope Admin pages won’t be cached if I leave #1 unticked and #2 ticked?

I don’t know why this issue is there in the first place.

Hey can you tell me this:

I’m using the shortcode [gform_update_post_edit_link] to display the edit post link. It shows up for admins only. By default is it showing up for admins only or for anyone who has editing capabilities?

I need to use this plugin in a scenario where say 10 users have their own posts with editing capabilities for their own posts, and therefore edit links for them. Will the shortcode provide me with what I want?

I disabled all the options, enabled them one by one to see which one was responsible. Debug.log contained only unrelated php notices. Suprisingly nothing worked. But I woke up today, enabled the plugin again and it worked this time. No idea why. Didn’t work with the same steps yesterday. Weird.

Didn’t try manually clearing out the cache from the wp-content folder. Maybe the plugin did that today and it worked? Don’t know. It’s weird when a problem fixes itself without indicating how. Maybe I’ll know soon. Thanks.

I’ve disabled DB and object caching. Will check out those guides. I’m on Bluehost and apparently they don’t recommend db/object caching too – https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/2304
