Resolved. It was a connectivity issue with Telia.

I have tried lowering it to even 100 before and it made even more duplicates.

Incidentally, We have started using a service for manipulating feeds, which also automatically removes duplicates, so I won’t investigate this further.

But thank you for your help.

Was 8.3.7, now updated to 8.4.0, but it hasn’t helped.

Thanks for you response.
However, it didn’t help.
It made the number of rejected product even higher – 78% are now duplicated.
I also tried setting
php_admin_value[memory_limit] = 1024M
php_admin_value[max_execution_time] = 200

Is there anything else I should try?

In general, when we put a discount on a product, they are no longer available at our suppliers. So we are not going to order more of them. We put a few hundreds of products into sale two times a year, so adding manually by specific product would take some time. Adding by category would not help.

We don’t want people to think that these on sale products can be restocked in the future.
