In reply to: How To Add Custom Header For Specific Category And Posts? This is on a child theme already. It’s Genesis with a child theme. I am not a coder. I have tried to write code and it always blows things up. I can follow a tutorial very well, though.
I was putting the code I posted in the functions.php file. It did not work. There is no header.php for this child theme.
Can anyone help me or direct me to a tutorial that works? Please?

In reply to: [postTabs] WP Post Tabs not showing on pageYes, I’m sure. I’ve had it for a couple of years. When I click on “visit plugin site,” it goes to this: https://tabbervilla.com/wordpress-post-tabs/
SO, yeah, I have the right plugin and the right developer. I have the free version, not the paid version.

@timothy Bowers – No, I wasn’t aware that you were taking over for someone else, so sorry about that.
Hopefully you can fix what’s broken.
@aristath – So why was a broken plugin update pushed through only to be rebuilt?
I’m having the exact same error plus a couple more. FUN!
Not.
Ooops. So sorry. I wasn’t trying to break the rules. Can you delete my post then?
By the way, GoDaddy is the biggest part of your problem. They have notoriously bad security for their servers and will do nothing to help their cu7stomers. I highly encourage you to get a new host — one with good security and customer service.
It’s just one site, correct? If your biz site is on the same server/hosting, that could be infected as well.

I do believe it’s a hack because I went into my client’s core files and found the same gibberish I found on another client’s site in October that got her black listed by Google.
This is the beginning of the injection code hack:
<?php eval(gzinflate(base64_decode('
In some cases, it could be a missing closing tag, but in my client’s case, it’s an injection hack.
It’s that dang eval(gzinflate(base64_decode hack again.
I cleaned a client’s site twice in October because it kept coming back. It will infect nearly every PHP file you have on all your domains. Themes, core files..everything.
If you’re infected like this SWITCH HOSTS because your current one is not keeping you safe. My current client is on GoDaddy — big surprise — and I’m switching her to HostGator. You know, a real host. LOL
Nearly ANY host out there is better than GoDaddy. So just say no to them and save yourselves a lot of trouble & frustration.

In reply to: [Sharebar] Error with WordPress 3.5Yep, that fix worked for me, too. Just make sure you copy ALL the code. Don’t accidentally leave out a semi colon or you’ll get a fatal error.

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Issues with wordpress 3.5 AND my themeIt MAY NOT be your theme. I just had a client contact me about the same issues you were having. She is running Thesis 1.8.5. The problem was the BPS plugin not finding a file in the htaccess.
I clicked the buttons to create/download/save a new htaccess file and now all is good.

In reply to: Site hacked by Click feeds?I’m fairly tech savvy, but the DB’s scare me because I can ruin a site that way. I can follow a good tutorial pretty easily. I design for WP bloggers (not a theme developer). I can just about hold my own in PHP, HTML & CSS. But core files? I get hives. LOL Although I have repaired & optimized my DB myself several times & even changed my username via MySQL.
I wonder if my host would do this for me.
