{edit} I updated the PHP version to 8.2.11 and it’s working as expected. {/edit}

The course is set to free form.

When they complete all topics, the lesson is marked as complete. The user sees it as complete on the course page and focus mode menu and it shows as complete in their user profile on the WP admin page.

No. They haven’t completed the next lesson or any topics in that lesson.

I have removed the toolkit and reinstalled it. No change.

I’m trying to change the version of PHP I’m using. That is not going as planned but my hosting provider is helping with that.

I have a cut-down version of my live site that can be used for further investigation.

I found a fix.
Open the includes/functions.php file.
At the bottom, find the line $value = wp_kses_post( $value );
Add a line after this and add $value = stripslashes( $value );
BTW, I’m using 1.0.67 from github.
Just remember that if the plugin is updated, you may have to apply the fix again.

Thanks for letting me know. I’m not sure what you mean by the exclusions needing to be singular. I exclude multiple roles by holding down the ctrl (cmd) key and selecting the roles to be excluded.

Anyway, I have someone working on a way to copy the metadata (which doesn’t trigger any webhooks) to a custom field that will.

Here’s some code I’ve used to remove user roles.

remove_role(‘subscriber’);

Add them to your functions.php or site specific plugin. It only needs to run once then can be removed or commented out.

To change the default user role, Settings => General.

I use MP as well so I’m happy to compare notes.

Hi Mike.

I misunderstood your question, however, I’ve been thinking about easier solutions and have found what I’m after. The theme I use uses accordions and have coded it to use only one, to not collapse and renamed it. Then building on your question about using short scription, I’ve used the product description. I think it will do what it I want without worrying too much.
