I read that article, but that article suggests to me that the solution is for WordPress to start reading EXIF info.

From a workflow perspective, by not having WordPress reading EXIF info, you are suggesting to all WordPress users that they must use an external photo editing program every time they want to post an image to WordPress. Whereas, by using EXIF info, posting to WordPress can happen directly from the mobile device or via computer without needing to process the image in an additional step.

I am having trouble understanding why it is not a WordPress issue. Does WordPress not interpret EXIF data on uploaded images?

This appears to be what is now happening to me!

I am running the latest version of iOS7 and WordPress. Uploading images directly from my iPhone 5s to the site and placing them in a post. They show with the correct orientation when subsequently viewing the post on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad), but rotated 90 degrees on any computer (OS X or Win7). If I take the same image, rotate it in OS X, delete it off WordPress and re-upload, it shows up correct in OS X and Win7 but now wrong on iOS 7!

Anyone have any further luck with this?

I enabled multisite, but still don’t have any admin options. Brand new install.
