I’m on WP 5.6 and it seems to only happen with Chrome.
If I enable the plugin, it returns.

No, not using a child theme. I know I should but really, this is such a long standing problem.

Hi,
I have no hosting provider, I do my own.
There are no errors relating to this, other than the one produced by WordPress in its own Site Health space.
Everything works, except for that message.

Sorry, no help.
It is something in WP, but I can’t find it yet.
Curl on its own works fine. Wire shark shows comes both ways.
But that error still shows in Site Health.

I’m supposing ImageMagick – because I only see the error pop up so far when I run Site Health – and it goes looking for Ghostscript to return the version – but can’t.

Is there any way I can tell WP where to find ‘gs’ like in a config file for example?

I have ssl installed and it’s working fine

So I have this, and a
cUrl error 28. Cant reach ExactMetrics.

They have only shown up since updating, in the Site Health display.

Thanks, yes, I looked at that one. But it just seems a bit basic. I’ll revisit it and see what happens. I changed to Catch Responsive last night to see how it looks. So far so good, but today I will test out the editing.

Sorry to hear you say this Ellet. The documentation clearly states that the user must opt in to its use, via a popup request. The cpu is not hijacked, as only spare cpu power is used.
You are mistaking this for that other one that did hijack the users computer. This one doesn’t, as is explained carefully on their site as well as in the plugin.

If you come across this problem you can fix it.

$ curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jquery-form/form/v4.2.2/dist/jquery.form.min.js.map > jquery.form.min.js.map

Then copy the file to the correct position. In my case /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.form.min.js.map

Hi, hmmm. Something like that.

I’ve wandered about the whole site now, fixing, updating, moving etc.
However – the ONLY place where the sidebar shows up is on the Posts page. Which really, is a bit of a bummer, because that’s not my home page.
Oh well. So be it I guess.
I haven’t had a look yet to see if it can be enabled in other pages in the style.css ??
The two footer elements show up on all pages fortunately.
