Hey t0m4u…….
Follow the two links at the bottom. DO NOT CHANGE HTTP TO HTTPS….that probably ‘broke’ the site. I did not add code or change anything on WordPress; other than going from https://www.yoursite.org to https://yoursite.org. Backup your site before you begin.
Simply go to your WordPress site, from your dashboard go to settings > general and make sure your WordPress page Address & Site address read https://yoursite.com: make sure the WWW part is removed.
If you had your WordPress installed before these tutorials then make sure you change your WordPress settings before picking the “remove www” option in your DreamHost panel. This applies to your site as Dreamhost is installed.
I have left the CloudFlare Flexible SSL plugin installed, which did not give me the green lock on the main page or posts. But when I installed SSL Simple plugin it simply scanned and debugged on its own. Green Lock on all pages. Read through the tutorials before applying it to your site. Backup before you begin.
