As we have replied to you before, We did not get what are saying about header widget. Fabulist doesn’t have header widget area.

Please confirm the issue in demo sites, provided in WordPress Themes directory.

We would like you to check the demo of child themes. It does support header image. Header image will be shown in archive, blog and search pages. It does not show up in front page.

We did not get what are saying about header widget. Fabulist doesn’t have header widget area.
