In reply to: [Novo-Map : your WP posts on custom google maps] Novo-Map Not Showing@bolditalia I think you just need to go into Autoptimize > JavaScript Options > Exclude scripts from Autoptimize and add maps.googleapis.com/maps/api into the exclusions box.
Somebody can correct me if that’s wrong.
Hi, scratch that. I think I worked out what my issue is. I was providing users access to a Google Drive which contained folders shared from another Google Drive account. That’s why users were being asked to authenticate.
The plugin is working fine. I’ll close this thread.
Many thanks. My test user is being promoted to request access to each folder, so it’s almost as if the WP Military account doesn’t have the right permissions to authenticate incoming user requests from my website.
Perfect, I can confirm that has worked perfectly. Thanks.

In reply to: [Novo-Map : your WP posts on custom google maps] Novo-Map Not ShowingNow just one red: “(index):2622 Uncaught ReferenceError: google is not defined at (index):2622”
And one yellow “util.js:251 Google Maps JavaScript API warning: RetiredVersion https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#retired-version “

In reply to: [Novo-Map : your WP posts on custom google maps] Novo-Map Not ShowingOK, so I now have wp-includes/ in the script exclusion box, I’m excluding Novo Map in the Plugin exclusions box and I have “Apply Defer (jQuery Excluded)”.
The map is still not showing. The only way I can get it to show is to disable Async JavaScript altogether.

In reply to: [Novo-Map : your WP posts on custom google maps] Novo-Map Not ShowingWith “Apply Defer (jQuery Excluded)” applied the map does not show.
In the Chrome developer console I get two red warnings “(index):2142 Uncaught ReferenceError: wp is not defined” and “(index):2622 Uncaught ReferenceError: google is not defined”.
I also see a yellow warming “util.js:251 Google Maps JavaScript API warning: RetiredVersion https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#retired-version “

In reply to: [Novo-Map : your WP posts on custom google maps] Novo-Map Not ShowingYes, if I re-enable AsyncJS it blocks the Novomap, whatever settings I use, as far as I can see.
No matter if I “Apply Async (jQuery Excluded)” or “Apply Defer (jQuery Excluded)” then the map does not appear.

In reply to: [Novo-Map : your WP posts on custom google maps] Novo-Map Not ShowingDisabling AsyncJS seems to have done the trick. I’d like to enable it if possible though, as it’s good for my PageSpeed score, so is there some magic combination of AsyncJS settings that will enable Novo Map to work?
Thanks!
Thanks for your reply @jsmoriss, so two questions:
1) Is there a recommended image size for the Google schema logo or does it just need to be square?
2) Does the organisation need to be registered with Google Business to display a logo in search results, or can this be done without registering?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack Connection IssuesHi Stef,
My hosting provided had an additional layer of security preventing access to the XML-RPC page. They have now disabled it and Jetpack now connects perfectly.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack Connection IssuesThanks for your reply. I will ask my hosting provider if there’s anything they are blocking.
I am also using CloudFlare CDN so is there anything I need to disable on there? I just disabled minify for JS but it doesn’t seem to have made any difference.
Hi Metaslider,
Thanks for your help. Print JS was turned on but I had two performance plugins running, so I disabled one (Speed Booster, in case it’s any use to your users) and it seems to have resolved the conflict.
Thanks!
I’m having the exact same issue. I created a new slideshow to see if there was just something wrong with the old one but it still doesn’t work. The first slide displays but it doesn’t advance through the slideshow and the forward / backward arrows and navigation dots aren’t showing.
As above, Print CSS and Print JS are enabled, and I have no CSS classes in “developer options” field. WordPress v4.95 and MetaSlider v3.7.2
