On looking at your site a bit more, I see you did mean to put the featured post on every page, and put it first. Actually, that’s probably not so bad, and it’s beautifully done. I’m on a netbook, which has a small screen, so the featured posts obscured the rest of the pages for a while – but of course most people are not on netbooks.

I wonder why you don’t find the navigation smooth? I can’t see anything wrong with it, to tell you the truth.

Two quick preliminary points:

1. Your site looks great. I don’t know how people manage to get their sites so professional-looking. Lovely job.

2. First navigation error (or I think it’s an error) I come across is: whether I click on the About page or the Home page, in both cases I get a page with a featured post first (not the same one, though) and then underneath an About section. Did you mean to do this? Would perhaps seem to make more sense to have the home page just show featured posts, and certainly to have the About page show the About text first, and probably only. I.e.: without the featured post.
