Questions:
1. I have access to control panel or FTP so don’t think I need File Manager plugin, right if I end up using Filebird?
2. Does your plugin include not just images but also pdfs?
3. What if I keep Media file mgr plugin active and install filebird, what do you think would happen?I guess the only way to find out if Filebird works for this one is to try and backup prior to just in case. I create a stage site though to test it but haven never done one before. Host provider gave me a link to create one.

In reply to: [Wicked Folders] Replacement plugin for Enhanced Media LibraryThanks for input. I assume $24.50 is annual?
Are you there?

Got response from Wicked Folders as follows, https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/replacement-plugin-for-enhanced-media-library-3/#post-13409791:
From Wicked Folder-Here are the answers to your questions:
Correct, the free version allows you to organize pages, posts, and custom post types but does not include media library folders. The pro/paid version includes media library folders as well as folders for Gravity Forms, WooCommerce, and the plugins screen. You can learn more about the pro version here. The cost of the pro personal version is $49 for one year of updates. After the first year, if you’d like, you can renew for $24.50 to continue receiving plugin updates. The plugin will still work though even if you don’t renew.
We offer lifetime support for our plugins. So even if you don’t renew your license, you can still get support. We prioritize all support requests the same and typically respond on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The personal edition of the pro version is valid for one domain. So, yes, you can use it on any site you want but the license only works for one domain.
The personal license is valid for a single domain. The agency license is valid for unlimited domains.
I am checking out Wicked Folders also https://wickedplugins.com/plugins/wicked-folders/. Looks like free version only organizes pages and posts. You have to buy Personal version to organize media library. Cost $49. I messaged developer with my questions.
1. Free version shows that it organizes pages and posts. What about media library? It looks like that is only included in the paid Personal version.
2. Is the Personal version a one-time fixed fee or annual?
3. What is tech support duration length and priority for Personal?
4. I assume the Personal version can be used for my client’s sites, right?
5. Can one license be used on multiple sites?Just an FYI…Wicked Folders has 10,000+users. Filebird has 50,000+users. The more the merrier to help work through the kinks!

Hi there,

YES, free version allows 10 folders only and the PRO version is a one time fee.“And what about extending tech support-cost?”
You get 6 months free technical support when you purchase a license, but to renew support cost about $8“I assume one licence purchased can be used for any other appropriate sites with more than 10 media categories?”
Please note that one license is for one website only. Please see the steps to follow if you are upgrading from free to PRO:

Kind regards,
-Bruce-Great! Thanks. Do you have a video tutorial for importing steps?
I saw that your plugin is free for up to 10 media categories, right? And your premium is $25. Is that a one-time fixed fee or annual? And what about extending tech support-cost?
I have several sites with EML plugin to convert. I assume one licence purchased can be used for any other appropriate sites with more than 10 media categories?
And do I follow these steps?:
1. Back up site prior. Create a Staging site first to test out.
2. Install/Activate free version. Use on sites that have 10 or less media categories. Decide whether to activate premium version after working on free version.
3. Pay for premium license.
4. Install/Activate premium license on sites with more than 10 media categories. If you have different steps to suggest, by all means.
Thanks for everyone’s input. I am still researching options to make sure any plugin replacement can convert EML paths and have everything in place for pages and posts, and won’t crash site. Will of course back up complete directory prior to testing out. I have 4 sites that use EML. So, I want to make sure I take the best route.
I have also contacted these plugin developed to see what they say, plus contact my host provider for input also, including creating a staging site. Onward!

Was able to work it out. smtp host was correct. Needed to change to TLS and port. And host provider had blocked previous port, and unblocked it.

In reply to: [WP-Members Membership Plugin] Developper ignores questionsJust a thought…I used the public forum for some time. It’s a great plugin. But as I utilized more features it was a little hard getting a reply on some tech issue. Over the past couple years the plugin has become very popular raising the number of tech requests.
Most of the time the issue was something I wasn’t doing right and just needed to look at some of Chad’s tutorials. I convinced my client to pay for the premium bundle. It was worth every dollar! Chad has been great answering quickly and I have offered some suggestions on features to add. He took most of them to heart and made some changes quite rapidly. I would give it another try if you think you would benefit from any of the plugins or bundle, which is a considerable savings. https://rocketgeek.com/plugins/
One last question for now. Does your plugin identify the top level domain when someone from let’s say @xx.ru email is used on the form? I didn’t see any smart tag for something like that. My host provider was wondering about that as a means of blocking either through your plugin or DNS route in control panel.
Hope you are able to add a blocking feature option at some point. I used securi security before. Not certain if that will help block countries. Also, Wordfence premium at $90/yr is the only route for blocking countries. Thanks for your input.

I am currently using Loginizer/Brute Force but I don’t think it has the ability to block by country or regions.
I have looked over possible plugins. Which one has worked best for you?

Got all forms working right now with wp mail smtp plugin. Now, if you could add a feature that sends admin a success notification for extra emails added to “Sent to…” field. That way admin knows client and/or form sender received form submission successfully.
I sent in my suggestion to WPForms.
If I set up one email via the wp mail smtp plugin, what will happen to the other email address put in the form, “Email to” and “From Email” fields? Will both go through even though the plugin only has one field for one email address.
