I think I have the same problem with the User Login->Login Lockdown feature. I have it set at max login attempts = 4 and Login Retry Time Period = 2 minutes. However if the username exists, I can try logging in even 10 times in 2 minutes and there is no lockdown for the IP address. I tested this because in the Failed Login Records tab I can see that one IP address tried to login with an existing username repeatedly, every 2 seconds, and was not locked out after a few minutes as I would like. Can you help?

I wasn’t logged in. I used Firefox’ Web Developer->Page Source. However, after seeing your post I tried Chrome’s page source and there it appears properly.

Thank you for your help. How odd that viewing page source in Firefox does not show that line at the end like your .jpg does. I just checked again. I guess the problem is with Firefox.

Before installing Really Simple SSL I turned off WP Super Cache caching. I followed the instructions to change http to https in .js and .css, etc. The SSL plugin worked perfectly. We have WooCommerce on the site and another plugin LearnDash so I tested purchasing a course and that worked properly. Finally, I turned back on WP Super Cache caching. After logging out I could not log in. To work around this I renamed the Super Cache plugin using FTP to deactivate it so I could log in. I deleted the cache and tried again, same problem. What happens is that when I log in with WP Super Caching set to caching on, I am not getting logged in. If I enter /wp-admin/ at the end of the site URL I am taken back to the login page. It’s not a critical issue, I’m just not using WP Super Cache.

I had this problem and found that when I disabled plugin “Use Google Libraries” the slider images came back so I could edit it and add new slides.

I switched to this plugin instead: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/email-address-encoder/ . I like to keep plugins up to date and email-address-encoder works fine without conflicting with the widget CSS classes.

I am using the 2 plugins together and no problems yet!

I had the same problem. sort_column= “menu_order” does not display the site pages in the order of the menu, which I though it would. Thanks for the work around – I am able to control the page order by setting the “Order” for each page under Page Attributes.

The Features page of the plugin says that landing page templates are included so it’s confusing. It needs to be updated. See https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-maintenance-mode/

Apparently it was a one-off during the period of server problems. The backup to Dropbox worked perfectly today. Sorry to waste your time!

Since posting this I’ve confirmed the web server problem, so I will get that resolved before trying again, just in case the intermittent server issue influenced this. Then I’ll let you know.
