Thanks! I contacted my website hosting group & have restored all my public html files & I still get a blank page at my wp-login.php page. Any suggestions? I really appreciate your help!

I was told by the support team at WP.com that mine is a “self-hosted/installed” version of WordPress. It resides as part of my website that is hosted by Register.com. I would appreciate any insights you can share!

Help? It sounds like we’re having similar problems. I have used WP on my website for at least 1 1/2 years & posted successfully a couple of weeks ago. When I tried to login yesterday via my normal website blog, I got the HTTP error message 404. I have a self-hosted/installed version of WP that was created by my website designer and was acknowledged through WP.com, but when I contacted them for help with the log-in, they said I had to get support now thru WP.org?? While I’ve registered now with WP.org & can sign in, I don’t have access to my former dashboard with all my previous posts, etc. Is there any one who can tell me who to contact to retrieve my former info?
    tks
