In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Customize OptionsThe plug in that allows you to adjust fonts, font colors, and font size is Styles. It only works with the themes WordPress itself has released. You install Styles and then the particular plug in for the theme you are using. I am using 20-12 and it works wonderfully. You can see the changes before you save them. It adds the options to the customize menu.
I still have to use CSS to adjust letter spacing, line height, etc., but it significantly reduces the work. And works with most of the Google fonts.

In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Customize OptionsI found them, thank you. I was looking at a website where the customizing menu was much longer than the one in my copy of Twenty Twelve. They are plug-ins — Styles and Stiles Twenty Twelve. I can change all the fonts, colors, text sizes using a menu instead of CSS.
It doesn’t do button colors or spacing but the other stuff helps a lot.
It also allows you to preview the changes before making them.

In reply to: [Twenty Eleven] Css for Reply Box in Twenty ElevenThank you for telling me about the plug in. I find child themes to be an extra pointless layer.
How does the plug-in differ from Jet-pack’s CSS editor?

In reply to: [Twenty Eleven] Css for Reply Box in Twenty ElevenI know I need to make a child theme. The question was what section of the CSS would I modify in the child theme. I think the previous poster answered the question. I haven’t tried it yet.

In reply to: CSS Styles “Code” and “Pre Code”In other words, the is a CSS style for code and another one for pre-code.

In reply to: CSS Styles “Code” and “Pre Code”But where are they used. They are in the CSS as styles but I don’t know what they refer to in the theme.

In reply to: Blank ScreenIt worked. I had to go to /wp-admin/
Thank you and thank for replying so promptly. Saved me from major melt down.

In reply to: Blank ScreenI’m not sure what the current theme is since I was installing a new one, and forget just which one it was. I renamed all the themes in that folder by adding -old to each one except the default.
No change in the blank screen.

In reply to: Blank ScreenI don’t know how to do any of these things because the screen is completely blank.
