I have WeTransferred a screenshot of the issue on mobile https://we.tl/t-7nPhi5Tr1Y
It was same on laptop (I do not have with me today) but the desktop I view on today works well.I have done as requested, and it does at least fit within the smartphone screen now, although the text layout looks misaligned…
However, it does not display at all well on desktop now.
Sorry, but could you advise again please. I will WeTransfer the newly exported popup file. WeTransfer link: https://we.tl/t-FOzKRP2UzPHello,
Can you confirm the email address I should send to please.
I tried sending via WeTransfer, but I don’t think I communicated as you intended.
This is the WeTransfer link: https://we.tl/t-7nPhi5Tr1Y
And the .xml file was sent, but I didn’t see where to add the chat thread. So I am trying to email you again – perhaps I am not using the correct email address for you??
[email protected] This is the only I have found, it is not clear what your intended email address is.Post Link: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/will-not-fit-smartphone/#post-16219305
I have also attached the .xml file.
And a screenshot of how the popup displays on a smartphone.I have just emailed you via the address in your WP support.
Hello, thank you for your reply and advise, sorry for my late reply. (the email address in my profile was an out of date one no longer in use).
I have exported the popup – but cannot see the option to upload it here??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Slider - Ultimate Responsive Image Slider] constant image heightI see, thank you @farazfrank I have set the home page to 500px height, which does stop the other content bobbing about, although I am not keen on the spaces revealed on other slides. I might edit the images to be constant.
Thanks, though. This is better for now.PS: is there a setting to display captions below the images? (I do not want the captains to appear ON the images). I guess this might be in Pro?

In reply to: Temp IP address being used for Home pageSORTED! the install etc was all squeaky clean – I discovered on the site ‘Menu’ that the Home page was a ‘custom link’ – and it featured that rogue url. Edited that and it’s sorted.
I think you mentioned custom menu at one point as well, Esmi.
Thank you very much for your assistance ??

Yes the domain was propagated and added to my hosting before I installed WP.
I must admit, I was intending to install in the temp location (so I could dev it offline before going live) but somehow it was live from the word go – I didn’t mind this, as I pretty much had the content ready to add.The installer is a 1 click within my hosting
Not custom menu -I’m using the default main menu option

In reply to: Temp IP address being used for Home pageYes, i did that – this looks fine. I wonder if I installed it incorrectly? (I’ve not moved the site – it’s freshly installed last week and just being developed in the live location – but I wonder if it thinks it’s in the temp location??

In reply to: Moving WordPress from a development location to liveThanks James, at least I know I’ll be following the right sort of guidance.
Have you ever used WP installed on your local computer? (as opposed to installed on server)? It strikes me that if this operates anything like the way RapidWeaver does, it would be perfect!
I’d like to say that Afzaal, at the developers, ‘Think Up Themes’ just contacted me via Skype and very patiently talked me through the process of obtaining their support. Sorry if I’ve given those guys a hard time, I really should use the WP Forum more, I’m a bit of a newbie to accessing WP support! especially for support on free themes.
YESSSSS!!!! Thank you everyone and (Bedrulbedul), it HAS helped me. I have had exactly the same issue. I tried to get support from the developers, ‘Think Up Themes’, but this seems to only be available to paid for subscribers. However, Salma there did suggest I placed my issue on the www.ads-software.com Forum and she would try to get it solved by a member for me.
However, I easily came across the very same issue, as so many people seem to be suffering it too! Yes, the blasted ‘Comprehensive Google Map’ plugin is deintely to blame – once deactivated, I was able to ‘add media’ again as usual. I’m surprised the Theme developers don’t know about this??? I will let them know.
Thanks again everyone.
