In reply to: [TinyMCE Color Picker] Can't type in my color codeI found that there is a conflict Visual Composer.
Workaround: If you deactivate Visual Composer, set your colors, then reactivate it, it works. I also had to deactivate Ultimate Addons for VC. I’m assuming any other VC addons will also need to be disabled.

In reply to: [TinyMCE Color Picker] Can't type in my color codeI’m having the same problem Sarah. Is there a fix for this?
This little addon would be a god send if I can get it to work.
-ShayeThanks Brian, that did the trick!
And yes, I am on shared hosting.
Thanks Brian, I’ll give that a try. Since I created this post I haven’t seen any new infections. Thanks again for the great plugin. Good to know there are coders out there doing the good work.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Flat rate overwriting UPS during multiple product checkoutI’m having the same problem, has anybody figured out how to resolve this? I’ve tried the 3 settings in flat rate that allow you to apply it to the order, the item or the class. No matter what, it only applies the flat rate fee of that item to the order. Even if there are a bunch of other items in the cart, in turn loosing money on shipping.

In reply to: WordPress 4.0.1 updated, can't see wordpress dashboard anymoreTry disabling your plugins through FTP. To do this, login to FTP and browse to your plugin folder wp-content/plugins. Rename the plugin folder to anything other than what it is. I usually add “-DIS” to the end. This lets me know it’s disabled.
It’s most likely a plugin that isn’t compatible with 4.0.1. You have to renable them one by one by removing “-DIS” and see if you can login.
PS You can also disable all plugins at once by renaming the plugin folder itself. This will tell you whether it’s a plugin or not.

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] 500 internal server error after activating root folderOkay that worked, cheers!
I guess I was hitting default.htaccess File instead of secure.htaccess. I’m pretty sure the notice at the top of WP says to hit default.htaccess File then root folder. I guess that’s what threw me off, thanks again for an amazing plugin and quick support!
Regards,
ShayeThanks Jamie. I ended up using Gravity forms which I already own. Just didn’t realize it was capable of doing this too. If it doesn’t work like I need it to, I’ll definitely take a look again at your forms.
I took a look at the pro demos and I’m not seeing what I’m looking for. I have a client that does granite counter-tops and I’d like to create a form that allows a customer to pick out options for their counter. These options need to be in the form of images like
- Edges
- Finish
- Pattern
- Color
At the end, there would be an option to submit all this data to the website. Is this possible? Can you show me a demo that is similar? I’d be happy to pay for the pro version if this is the case.
Regards,
ShayeI would love to see this too! I’ve been Googling for the last hour trying to find something similar but no luck. A plugin would be cool for this.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Lost sale data after downgrading to 2.1.12NOT RESOLVED: It was working and all of a sudden it’s not and the only thing I did was clear my page cache for W3.
It broke the site again with this error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare woocommerce_output_related_products() (previously declared in /home3/dyeman/public_html/americolor/wp/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/wc-template-functions.php:1091) in /home3/dyeman/public_html/americolor/wp/wp-content/themes/dt-the7/inc/mod-woocommerce/mod-woocommerce.php on line 87
So I disabled WC and got these errors:
Fatal error: Class ‘SYN_Shipping_Method’ not found in /home3/dyeman/public_html/americolor/wp/wp-content/plugins/synmedia-woocommerce-shipping-ups/classes/class-syn-shipping-ups.php on line 7
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_shop() in /home3/dyeman/public_html/americolor/wp/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-product-archive-customiser/archive-customiser.php on line 269
It looks like the theme is not compatible along with 2 plugins. I guess I’ll have to roll back to 2.1 and deal with the missing sales data. Unless anybody has any ideas?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Lost sale data after downgrading to 2.1.12RESOLVED: Thanks Mike and Claudio! I was able to update to 2.2.1 and my orders are showing up now.
My fear is now if I upgrade WP, the wp-config file will be overwritten and it will break again. I’m guessing the next version of WooCommerce will address this log issue?
I’m thinking about creating a duplicate sandbox site and doing tests on it before doing updates on anything. It would be nice if you could enter a sandbox mode and test a plugin before pulling the trigger.
Any suggestions on best practices for upgrading plugins besides the obvious like backing up DB’s?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Lost sale data after downgrading to 2.1.12Thanks for the reply Mike. Can you point me to the workaround for non-updated plugins? Does this allow WC to run properly if it was one of my plugins that was breaking the site?
I updated my plugins all at once and it broke my site the first time so I’m nervous to do the update again.
