Never mind, Arne! I figured you musta seen it pull in your file in the header or something, which was the case! So I yanked that, and all is well.

Originally, I thought maybe the colorbox functionality was already on board, but it doesn’t work at all without the plug-in installed. How did you know it had the colorbox within the theme? I’d prefer to pull it out of the theme and just use your plug-in.

Yeah, I have several sites hosted off the same GoDaddy account and no trouble w/ CF7 at all. But this client with a different account (same plan, incidentally) has tons of problems. Not only the delivery failures, but crazy long wait times for emails to come through—when they do.

It’s looking like the only 100% safe solution is to switch from GoDaddy…

It actually HAS been working for me since all of this. Since I installed the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin. But I’m terrified to just let ‘er rip and hope it works!

Or, wait—does Wufoo host the form? I was thinking it was a formbuilder, but the form actually lives over there with them, huh?

Bulldogs—look for it in the “classes.php” file. Under the plug-ins editor for CF7, it’s one of the files. Do a find on “form action” and you should (maybe?) see that string. I did—or a similar one, anyway—and replaced it with the “/webformmailer.php” that GoDaddy wanted to see, but it didn’t work any more reliably. But that’s just me!

I actually had another form, built from scratch w/ GoDaddy’s form action, and it didn’t work either. At least not last night…

So they stopped working so I tried something dumb.

I deleted the CF7 plug in and reinstalled it. Through admin. Guess what…

Yeah—it seems to work. And this is just with the default settings! So no messing with webformmailer.php or anything. I’m going to keep testing it tonight to make sure it works reliably…

So—just to see, I renamed the webformmailer.php alias (rather than delete it) so it essentially wouldn’t be there. Then, the form worked like a charm—came through quickly with all formatting intact.

I’m thinking since it appears to be working without the file in there, that somehow it’s finding the correct file webformmailer.php anyways. Can anyone think of a reason not to proceed without that alias in there?

Suddenly, a bunch of the emails from over 45 minutes ago are coming through. The GoDaddy guy said they were experiencing delays/backup so maybe that’s why. Oddly—now the CF7 formatting is gone in these emails. I don’t know if that has something to do with the GoDaddy form action file?

Aaaah—yes. That’s my problem, too. IF the webformmailer.php is actually visible in there (looking in the root thru FTP) then it won’t work—just spinning arrows. In my case, GoDaddy “reinstalling” the file put an alias in there.

But earlier, when I DELETED that file, inexplicably, it worked. You might want to try it.

The GoDaddy guy also told me their servers are on a 15 minute cycle—only send emails that make it up there every 15 minutes—so you might not get it right away.
