OK. I found the “Clean Up” button. I was looking for it in the plugin list beside the “Deactivate” and other links. I’m not sure it has worked but then I am not sure how to check as the Yoast ‘destination folder’ is still there. I think I’ll give up on this as it is all too mysterious for me.

I thought I might be adding my own work on the site to the stats. With small sites getting just a 100 or so visits the stats can be skewed by work getting done. A useful future feature might be a field where you can enter IP addresses of computers to be ignored by the visitor count. Just a thought.

Sorry problem solved. After a while the banner image appeared! Still not sure of the correct size but I’ll experiment.
